Abstract

The present work will focus on the Implementation of the Good Storage Practices of the HOLM'S SCRL Group, reorganizing and systematizing the warehouse of finished products, with the aim of increasing the profitability of the company, seeking continuous improvement through an efficient management of the warehouse and provide an efficient service. In order to do this, various tools learned throughout the career were used, such as Ishikawa diagram, Gantt diagram, Verner matrix, prioritization matrix, among others. The main results obtained were that the warehouse was systematized with software for the control of inventories, as well as the bar code system. The warehouse for finished products was expanded and a layout was developed using the ABC method, in order to achieve an adequate distribution and an efficient dispatch of the merchandise.
